Gavin Repton is a Production Sound Mixer/Sound Recordist and Drone Pilot (CASA RePL) based in Perth, WA who has been working in Film and Television for the past 10 years.

 

Focusing on working in drama for feature film and television, Gavin also has experience in documentary, TVC, corporate, online content with projects airing on BBC One, Discovery Channel, Channel 7, Channel 9, SBS/NITV and ABC.

Recent projects he has mixed sound on include Screen Australia feature films 'The Furnace', 'I Met a Girl' and 'H is for Happiness'; ABC TV's 'The Heights' Season 2 and ‘Itch’ Season 2, and TV documentary series 'Aussie Gold Hunters' for Discovery, 'Desert Vet' for Channel 9 and 'Family Rules' Seasons 2 & 3 for NITV/SBS.

Gavin is passionate about recording great audio and has a kit filled with industry standard equipment that is ready to tackle any project. Sound Devices audio mixer/recorders, Lectrosonics wireless and Schoeps, Sanken and DPA microphones are used to get the best sound possible. He also has a fully equipped drama sound cart with additional accessories for bigger productions.
